I completed my PhD in Mathematics at the University of Warwick in 2016, working in geometric group theory and low dimensional topology. After that, I held an early career fellowship supported by IAS (Warwick Institute of Advanced Study) and IATL (Warwick Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning). During that time, while still carrying on with some mathematical research, I got interested in issues concerning Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. In particular I worked on a project aimed at better understanding the research-teaching nexus. Since March 2017 I have been working as the Mathematics Engagement Officer at the University of Edinburgh.
