Biographical Statement

I was born in Beijing, China, in 1999. Before starting my PhD in 2022, I joined the University of Edinburgh as a MSc student in Statistics with Data Science. Previously, I completed my undergraduate study at Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, China.

Personally, I would like to describe myself as a well trained applied statistician and a not very experienced statistical researcher (yet).

Education Background

2021-2022: MSc in Statistics with Data Science, University of Edinburgh. Master's thesis: "Bayes in the Rescue of Uncertainty Quantification of the Accuracy of Diagnostic Tests"

2017-2021: BSc in Information and Computing Science, Huazhong Agricultural University. Bachelor's thesis: "The Principle of CycleGAN and its Application in Style Transfer for Agricultural Image"
