Centre for Statistics launch event
The University of Edinburgh is establishing a new Centre for Statistics, which is being spearheaded by the School of Mathematics. The vision for the Centre is to act as a focus for statistical activity across the University, to promote the establishment of innovative inter-disciplinary statistical research programmes, provide effective communication of statistical ideas to an academic and external audience and to be at the forefront of training the next generation of statisticians and data scientists.
