Short CV

I completed my first degree in Mathematics at Bristol University, following that up by an MSc in Fluid Mechanics also at Bristol University.

Subsequently I studied for a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, working at the BP Institute. During my PhD I studied various viscous fluid flows and flows through porous media, under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Woods.

After a short spell as a teaching fellow at St Andrews University I then joined the engineering department at the University of Dundee working with Prof. Ping Dong as a PDRA studying cohesive sediment transport.

In 2008 I joined the University of St Andrews to work as a PDRA with Dr. Magda Carr on internal solitary waves.

From 2011 I worked as a Teaching and Research Fellow within the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of St Andrews, as well as a member of the Vortex Dynamics research group in Applied Mathematics.
