My mathematical background lies in Combinatorial methods in Topology, Algebra and Geometry. Recently I have been working in maths education, looking at how analytics can inform inprovements in course design and academic support for students.

I've written short blogs for the University of Edinburgh's Teaching Matters and THE Campus.
I lead the PTAS funded project
"Developing digital and hybrid mathematics support for long-term improvements in quality and accessibility", working with Steven O'Hagan, Konstantina Zerva of the School of Mathematics in Edinburgh and greatly helped by our 2021 undergraduate research assistant Gareth Lamb. The final report can be found here and gives a brief summary of our findings.
