Whittaker Research Fellow in Stochastic Analysis

The School of Mathematics wishes to appoint a WHITTAKER RESEARCH FELLOW in STOCHASTIC ANALYSIS. The fellowship is a fixed term contract for two years.We are seeking an outstanding candidate with a track record of research and teaching in stochastic analysis. Successful candidates will connect with existing areas of expertise in the School of Mathematics and, more broadly, with relevant research within the University. They will demonstrate a strong independent research programme and will be committed to teaching, in particular, to supervision of MSc dissertations and to delivery, each year, of an MSc course in Computational Mathematical Finance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the Centres for Doctoral Training ‘Maxwell Institute Graduate School in Analysis & its Applications’ and ‘Data Science.’; they can also take part in Edinburgh Data Science, a 1000-researcher network of excellence that coordinates the University’s activities in data science.
