Piscopia Initiative win STEMinist Student Society of the Year 2024
Congratulations to the Piscopia Initiative, who were awarded the STEMinist Student Society of the Year 2024 award by Equate Scotland last week! The award recognises the work they have been doing to create a network of women and underrepresented genders in the mathematical sciences.
We are very proud that Piscopia was co-founded by three Edinburgh/Maxwell Institute PhD students, and continues to see strong involvement from our PhD community. See two of the current co-leads, Kaitlyn Louth and Anastasia Istratuca from University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University, receiving the award.
