Former postdoc, Alexander Shapiro, has been awarded both a Fellowship and a Grant
Alexander Shapiro, a former postdoc in the School, has been awarded both a Royal Society University Research Fellowship 'Quantum Character Varieties and Positive Representation Theory' and a European Research Council Starting Grant 'NCST: Non-compact Chern-Simons Theory, Positive Representations and Cluster Varieties'. Dr Shapiro is concerned with applying methods of cluster algebra to problems in representation theory, integrable systems, and quantum field theory.
