Travelling to the JCMB

The School of Mathematics is located in the JCMB on King's Buildings campus.

By Cab from Airport: 30-40 minutes. Costs £20-25.

By bus from Airport: The Airlink bus departs every 10 minutes between the airport and the city centre (Waverley). One way is £4.50, round trip £7.50.

By bus from Waverley to JCMB: One block west of Waverley and the Airlink bus stop is a bus stop outside the Royal Scottish Academy just off of Princes street.

From there, take Lothian Bus Routes 41 bound for "King's Buildings" (not for Cramond). Busses are £1.70 per ride (or £4 per day).
This will take you to Kings Buildings Campus, and then the JCMB is just a short walk.

Alternatively, from "North Bridge" (one block in the east of Waverly), take Routes 3, 7, 8, 29, 31, 37, 47, 49. Get off at opp Lygon Road in front of the Travelodge near Craigmillar Park (one block in the east of King's Buildings) and walk to King's buildings (5 minutes).

Reimbursement: Colloquium speakers will be reimbursed for budget air or second class rail fares, accommodation and reasonable travel expenses. Please send your receipts and the completed expense claim form to me. If you are a non UK resident, please also complete foreign currency payment form.
