Hello and welcome!
Announcement: In June 2019, the ICMS hosted a summer school and conference on "Geometric representation theory and low-dimensional topology". Please click here to visit an archive of the event, featuring videos and lecture notes.
I am a Chancellor's
Fellow and Reader
at the University of Edinburgh School of
Mathematics, and member of the Hodge Institute, and the
Algebra and Number Theory group here. Here you can find information
about me, my research, and my teaching.
- I currently hold a five-year grant,
The quantum geometric Langlands topological field theory , from the European Research Council. - I am the network organizer for Algebra and Representation Theory in the North (ARTIN). This network hosts four annual conferences at various institutions in the UK.
- Previously, I was an NSF postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas, working with David Ben-Zvi. I received my Ph.D. from MIT, under the advisement of Pavel Etingof. You can find my CV here.
- I am currently advising three Ph.D. students: Juliet Cooke, Anna Mrktchyan, and Tim Weelinck.
- I currently supervise three post-docs: Andrea Appel, Sam Gunningham, and Sasha Shapiro. My former postdoc Peter Samuelson is now a tenure track professor at UC Riverside.
