Study programmes

The School of Mathematics offers a selection of MSc programmes in the area of financial mathematics.

The Financial Modelling and Optimization MSc is a dynamic programme that blends core financial mathematics theory and optimization techniques. It is expected that its graduates will not only find employment in the financial sector, but also in areas of the industry such as the energy markets, where modern financial tools and optimization techniques are used.

The Computational Mathematical Finance MSc delivers high quality training in the theory of mathematical finance with a strong emphasis on computational methods. You can choose to follow one of three "streams" of this programme, opting to specialise in either the Computational, Financial, or Machine Learning stream.

Both of these programmes can be completed via full-time or part-time study.
