Biographical Statement
Bárbara Rodrigues is a third-year PhD student in Optimization and Operational Research at the University of Edinburgh. She completed her undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the NOVA University Lisbon in 2019. She received the MSc in Operational Research with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh in 2020 and was awarded the Best Student Award for OR. Her research interests include bilevel optimization, nonlinear optimization and their applications in the energy industry. Her current research focuses on large-scale integration of prosumers into electricity markets and power systems operation.
