Laura Wisewell and Researcher Developer fund reopened until 5pm on Thursday 30th April

Due to the sudden changes in everyone's working life, we have decided to reopen applications to the Laura Wisewell and Researcher Developer fund until 5pm on Thursday 30th April.

Applications for the Laura Wisewell Travel Scholarships are open to Postgraduate Students and Postdocs in the School of Mathematics, and are to be used for conference travel or for other travel relating to the research programme of the successful recipient. A number of scholarships of the value of £500 - £1000 will be awarded each academic year.

The School Research Developer Fund is aimed to support training and development for Postgraduate Students, Postdocs and Staff. Priority is given to students.

Given the current situation, we would suggest that you look for online activities which may incur costs rather than events you will have to travel to.

For those of you who submitted a previous application, please let us know if the activity has been cancelled or changed. If this is the case, you can submit an application for an alternative activity. If you wish to proceed with the application you have already submitted, you do not need to take any further action. However, please be aware that given the reopening of the call, we are not actively considering the applications we have received unless you get in touch with us to advise that an urgent decision is needed.

Please email your applications to pgresearch@maths.ed.ac.uk by no later than 5pm on Thursday 30th April. All applications will be considered by a panel and we will notify you of the outcome within 4 weeks.
