Cecilia Balocchi wins the Savage Award

Cecilia Balocchi was announced as the 2021 Savage Award winner in Applied Methodology during the ISBA 2022 World Meeting in Montreal. The Savage Award is jointly awarded by the International Society of Bayesian Analysis and American Statistical Association. The award, named in honour of Leonard J. Savage, is bestowed each year to two outstanding doctoral dissertations in Bayesian econometrics and statistics. In the Applied Methodology category, the award recognizes a dissertation that makes an outstanding contributions with novel Bayesian analysis of a substantive problem that has potential to impact statistical practice in a field of application.
