Lectureship in Mathematical Sciences

Applications are invited for a Lectureship in the Mathematical Sciences to start on 1 August 2016 or by agreement. Exceptionally, the appointment may be to a Readership.Applicants should hold a PhD in a field of the Mathematical Sciences and be able to demonstrate an outstanding research record in an area of the Mathematical Sciences. Preference may be given to candidates who strengthen existing research interests in the School or connections between them, and applications are particularly welcomed from individuals whose research is related to Mathematical Analysis. Applicants will be expected to give high quality undergraduate and postgraduate level lectures, and to contribute to the administration of the School.All applicants should apply online via our vacancy website. Exceptionally appointment may be to Reader level for which the salary scale is £49,230 - £55,389.
