Nancy Eagles, a 4th year undergraduate, has, in collaboration with students from Universities in Canada and the USA, submitted a research paper based on a project funded by the 'Women and Minorities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Fields Program' (WAMS). The paper, currently under review, focuses on H-chromatic symmetric functions.

The purpose of the WAMS is to support research, education/teaching, and extension projects that increase participation by women and underrepresented minorities from rural areas in STEM.
