The 2014 Actuarial Teachers' and Researchers' Conference (ATRC) will be hosted by The University of Edinburgh on 1st and 2nd December 2014.

The 2014 Actuarial Teachers' and Researchers' Conference (ATRC) will be hosted by The University of Edinburgh on 1st and 2nd December 2014.

This annual two-day event  provides a forum for the exchange of the latest research ideas in Actuarial science and related areas.

The overarching theme of “Bridging the Gap between Academia and Industry” with emphasis this year on Risk Models aims to facilitate the discussion between academics and practitioners and to highlight the mutually beneficial interdependence between these two worlds.

The 2014 ATRC will also offer the opportunity for an update on recent, UK-wide developments on Actuarial Education & Strategy.
