Game Theory of Cancer

I have been working for a few years on game theory applied to cancer, to understand problems like intra-tumor heterogeneity and anti-cancer therapies, using a combination of theory and experiments. I will discuss how the theory of non-linear public goods helps understand the dynamics of growth factor production and how some relatively new improvements of the theory (using the properties of Bernstein polynomials for well-mixed populations, and of Voronoi graphs for spatially structured populations) can also be applied in other fields. I will also discuss recent experimental tests of the theory and future possible directions.
