The variable for which the determining row is provided
Value to be used as initial value
A row which is determining for a variable defines the value of that variable. This means that the
variable is a derived value which is calculated in another part of the model. Some solvers will use
such designations to refine their search, and in particular in sequential linear programming, a
process called cascading makes use of determining rows. Please refer to the Xpress-SLP documentation
(chapter Cascading) for more information.
