About

I am a mathematical physicist in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, supported by a Royal Society University Research Fellowship, the Leverhulme Trust and the STFC. I am also a PI of the Simons Collaboration on Celestial Holography, and a member of the Edinburgh Mathematical Physics Group (EMPG) and the Higgs Centre for Theoretical Physics.

Career

  • (2019 -- Present) Royal Society University Research Fellow, University of Edinburgh
  • (2016 -- 2019) Junior Research Fellow, Imperial College London
  • (2013 -- 2016) Junior Research Fellow, University of Cambridge (St. John's College)

Education

  • 2013, DPhil (Mathematics) University of Oxford
  • 2009, BSc (Mathematics & Psychology) University of Pittsburgh

Research

Broadly speaking, I am interested in finding novel formulations of physics using tools from algebraic and differential geometry.

More specifically, my research interests are:

  • Reformulations of classical and quantum field theories and their observables
  • Aspects of twistor theory and string perturbation theory
  • QFT in strong background fields
  • Mathematical properties of field theories
  • Classical general relativity in asymptotically flat space-times
  • Papers

All of my papers are available on the arXiv , inSpire or Google Scholar .
