Susan J. Sierra

I am a lecturer in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh.

My research is on noncommutative ring theory, algebraic geometry, and their interactions. For more information about me, see:

I will be teaching Introduction to Linear Algebra in the first term of 2011-12. Check back here for more course information.

I am a co-organiser of the January 2013 workshop Connections for Women: Noncommutative Algebraic Geometry and Representation Theory, at MSRI in Berkeley, CA. If you are interested in attending, please let me know!

I was a postdoc at Princeton University and the University of Washington.

I received my Ph. D. from the University of Michigan in 2008. Toby Stafford was my thesis supervisor.

In Fall 2009 I coordinated the junior faculty seminar at Princeton. In Winter 2007, I coordinated a reading seminar on D-modules and representation theory at Michigan.
