I am third year PhD student at School of Mathematics, University of Edinburgh, under supervision of Professor Ken McKinnon. I am working on optimization problems in electricity transmission networks.

I graduated with BS in Mathematics from COMSATS, Islamabad in 2008. I worked on generalizations of convex sets and convex functions as part of my one year BS project. After my graduation, I spent one year in KTH, Stockholm. I worked with Lars Jonsson on antenna array optimization problems.
