I am an EPSRC funded Maths PhD student at the University of Edinburgh. I started my PhD in September 2008 and am being supervised by Andrew Ranicki with Elizabeth Gasparim as my 2nd supervisor.

I take a keen interest in the more geometric side of mathematics, in particular topology, but am also a little bit partial to some algebra. I plan to use techniques of bounded topology to tackle problems in algebraic and geometric surgery theory.

In my free time I like to play a lot of sport, cook, improve my foreign languages and socialise of course!
