Interesting links
A link, what else?
Here are some pages on the web which I find amusing or interesting. Do also look on Haggis' blog for other mathematical blogs which are worth reading. And if you find more interesting things, email them to me!
- PhD Comics - So funny, so true.
- Sammy The Graduate Student - Contains some of worst puns you'll find in topology.
- Applications of ultrasonography in the reproductive management of Dux magnus gentis venteris saginati - The selective breeding of haggi and the problems this is causing. Look out for the baby hagglets.
- Graeme Taylor - My friend, ex-housemate and ex-colleague.
- Mark Powell, Spiros Adams-Florou and Patrick Orson - My mathematical brothers.
- Wikipedia - Wikipedia knows everything. Or at least, it will do, once I update a couple of articles. Especially the one on slice knots, which is really not very good.
- Knot Atlas - A little wikipedia, just for knots.
- KnotInfo - All the data you ever wanted to know about knots with up to 12 crossings. I am trying to help fill in some of the unknown values.
- MathSciNet - A search engine for maths papers. Try looking me up!
- Angol Tanulás - A website I made for my mother's business in teaching English to Hungarian students.
