The nearest airport is at Trichy which is connected from chennai by Indian Airlines and Air Deccan. It is also connected to Bangalore by Kingfisher airlines.

Visitors from other places can reach Bangalore / Chennai and later proceed to SASTRA as per directions given.

Both the towns (Tiruchirapalli & Thanjavur) are well connected by road, rail and air with other parts of the country.
