This is a growing list of lectures I have given about my research. Some of my other lectures appear in the Teaching section of this website.
This is an expository talk given at CAMS, Beirut, aimed at a general physics audience about my work on supersymmetric solutions of supergravity theories.
This is a colloquium-style talk aimed at mathematicians describing the problem of classifying of maximally supersymmetric solutions of supergravity theories and the results obtained thus far.
This is a seminar version of the previous talk for more expert audiences familiar with supergravity and string theory.
This is a seminar for experts on my work on parallelisable string backgrounds.
This is a three-lecture series on my work on quotient constructions of string backgrounds. It was given originally in Oviedo in February 2004.
Most of the links point to PDF files which do not print well, as they were written for laptop presentations. They have been compiled with pdflatex using Jim Hafner's foils class and post-processed with ppower4p, which are available from CTAN, if not already included in your TeX distribution. They are best viewed with the Acrobat Reader. A quick tutorial on how to produce these files is given here.
