The Art and Science of Knots

Beyond their practical use, knots have been a source of artistic inspiration since the dawn of human culture.  In more recent times, knots have also started showning up in scientific pursuits - in physics, mathematics, and biology - often in surprising contexts.
 
This interdiscplinary panel discussion will aim to shed light on the various roles knots and knot theory play today, how they are related to each other, and what developments the future might bring.

The discussion is aimed at a wide audience, and all are welcome to attend.
