Welcome to my website!

I am a Chancellor's Fellow and Lecturer in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh.  I am also part of the Hodge Institute.

My research is in algebraic and symplectic geometry, focusing on the geometry of various moduli spaces with some origin in physics or representation theory.

Before I came to Edinburgh I was a postdoc at QGM in Aarhus (Denmark), and at the University of Toronto.  I also spent time visiting the Max Planck Institute in Bonn, and the University of Campinas in Brazil.  I obtained a PhD from Columbia University, an MSc from the University of Oxford (where I was a member of Balliol College), and I was an undergraduate at the University of Antwerp in Belgium.

I am coordinating the GLEN (aka Highland COW) algebraic geometry seminar in Scotland and northern England.
