Current Fellows.

Martin Lotz explores connections between the complexity theory of convex optimization and compressed sensing. Past work has been in algebraic complexity theory, computational algebra and geometry, foundations of numerical analysis, combinatorics, and probability theory. He is also interested in applications of optimization methods in finance.

Teru Thomas works in representation theory and algebraic geometry, especially as related to the Langlands programme. Specfic interests include the Maslov index, Weil representation, and orbit method; quadratic forms and related categorical structures; mathematical physics.
