The meeting takes place at the Center for Planetary Science, Kobe University. The CPS page gives information on how to get to the CPS building. Basically it is a short monorail trip from Sannomiya, the main transport hub in Kobe. There is an "English" button on the ticket machines, and signs and announcements are bilingual. At the CPS building there is a sign saying "MODEST12a" which explains how to gain access.
Lunch will be available for ¥1000 on Wednesday and Friday at 12.00 at the building next door to the CPS building. Alternatively you can bring your own snack lunch (but best to buy it each day before setting out for CPS, as there are few shops around.). On Thursday lunch boxes have been ordered by those who wanted one.
