Venue

The conference will take place at the University Campus of the Universidad de La Habana. All sessions will be at the Meeting Room of Law Faculty, except Thursday afternoon and Monday, Dec. 22, when we will meet at Salon Unesco. The short talks are also at Salon del Decanato and Sala de Lecturas, but see the separate programme.

Directions to the Meeting Room of Law Faculty. Use the big stairs with the Alma Mater, the Law Faculty building is at the right side of the square.

Directions to Salon Unesco, Salon del Decanato and Sala de Lecturas. These rooms are in the basement of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, which in turn is in front of the Law Faculty.

It seems likely that wireless networking will be available.

Useful information

El Malecón

• Registration will be on Monday, December 15, 9.00–9.30 at the Meeting Room of LawFaculty.
• The conference dinner will be on Friday. We have decided not to fix a flat fee for this event, but rather make a pot; suggested donation is €40 per person, payable at the registration.
• Money: Bringing US dollars is a not a good idea, Euros or Pounds Sterling or any other major currency work better. It is unlikely that you will be able to use ATMs.
• Weather: Our Cuban friends inform us that it is very cold and that people should bring jackets. “Very cold” means 25°C.
• Computers etc.: There may be limitations to the availability of printers and data projectors. Wireless internet however should be available.
