Introduction

These pages are work in progress towards defining a Specification for Mathematical Questions & Test Interoperability or MathQTI.

The specification is an extension of the information model of IMS Question & Test Interoperability or QTI) in an attempt to incorporate aspects other exercise descriprion languages and systems and more specifically:

the XML format of WaLLiS
the XML format of ActiveMath
the text and Maple-specific format of AIM
the experience from CABLE and METRIC
the Maths/Psycics extensions by Graham Smith and Dick Bacon as presented in various CETIS and Serving Maths meetings
