Lectureships in Algebra, Geometry & Topology and Related Fields

Applications are invited for 2 lectureships to work in the Hodge Institute.  The positions are available to start on 1 August 2017 or by agreement.  Exceptionally, the appointments may be to Readership.

The Hodge Institute is a large world-class group of mathematicians whose research interests lie in Algebra, Geometry & Topology and related fields such as Category Theory and Mathematical Physics (http://hodge.maths.ed.ac.uk/tiki/Welcome)

Applicants should demonstrate an outstanding research record and contribute to the productive and strong collaborative research environment in the Hodge Institute. Preference may be given to candidates who strengthen connections between different areas of research within the Hodge Institute or more broadly between the Hodge Institute and other parts of the School. Applicants will be expected to give high quality undergraduate and postgraduate level lectures, and to contribute to the administration of the School. There will be a requirement to be involved in enhancing eLearning and online teaching initiatives.

Salary Scale: £39,324 - £46, 924 per annum. Exceptionally appointment may be to Reader level for which the salary scale is £49,772 - £55,998.
