Postdoctoral Research Associate in Noncommutative Ring Theory

A Post-Doctoral Research Associate position funded by the European Research Council is available for research into connections between Noncommutative Ring Theory and Hopf Algebras.

The successful applicant will be working under the supervision of Professor Agata Smoktunowicz in the School of Mathematics. Candidates should already have a research record in Hopf algebras; however, exceptionally strong candidates with a research record related to applications of ring theoretical methods in group theory, Lie algebras or mathematical physics will be also considered.

Salary: £31,656 - £37,768 per annum
