Edinburgh statisticians feature on BBC Radio 4's programme 'More or Less'

On the episode of 'More or Less' broadcast on Friday 12th January, there was an interview with Richard Sleeman, the Scientific Director of Mass Spec Analytical Limited, an analytical chemistry company near Bristol, concerning the measurement of the quantity of cocaine on banknotes. Reference was made to collaborative work of MSA with Amy Wilson and Colin Aitken of the Statistics research group in the School of Mathematics which showed there was no meaningful support for a proposition that the quantity of cocaine on banknotes in general circulation varied meaningfully across the country.
