The Graduate School Software Fund is a small fund for
inexpensive software (of the order of £25) for PG students' personally owned PCs and laptops,
such as Maple
and WinEdt. The University has a
database of software for staff & students.
If you wish to apply, please email Andrew Ranicki, stating the name
and cost of the software, and why you need it. If the expenditure is allowed, the procedure is for the PG student to order the
software him/herself, and then present a receipt and an Expenses Claim Form (available from the Main School Office, Room 5319) to
the Computing Manager, Steve Law (Room 5209).
