The Graduate School of Mathematics is a part of the School of Mathematics, which is a part of the College of Science and Engineering, which is a part of the University of Edinburgh.

PG is the standard University of Edinburgh abbreviation for postgraduate. There are currently over 50 PG students in the Graduate School, working for Ph.D.s in all areas of mathematics.

NEW Congratulations to Andrew Duncan, Dimitra Kosta, Natalia Issaeva and Hugh Griffiths who will be awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the Degree Ceremony on 26th November, 2009.
