Welcome to Version 26 (Sept 12) of the Organising Committee's WEB pages for OR41. OR41 is the 1999 Annual conference of the Operational Research Society. These pages will provide up to date information about the conference programme. The organiser's pages are distiguished by the knot symbol in the top left corner. We suggest you bookmark this current page for quick access later. These pages are not part of the OR Society WEB site and have not been generated by the Society. The information in the Organiser's WEB pages has been provided by different sources including the OR Society. While we do our best to ensure it is accurate we cannot guarantee this.

The programme is still subject to change and talks may be rescheuled or be withdrawn by their authors. See Changes for what has changed from previous versions.

Version 22 corresponds to what was sent to the printers on 24th August to form the conference handbook. A printed copy of this handbook will be given to all who register for the Conference. Copies have been posted at the end of August to people who had registered by then. The handbook in pdf format can be viewed or printed (e.g. using Acrobat) from Handbook (1.3Mb). If the time of a talk is changed after version 22 we will try to contact the speaker to notify them of the change.

The pages on this site are generated automatically from our data base of talks and authors, and will be updated regularly. The version number of the last update of each talk and person's entry is shown. Talks or people where there is information missing are indicated in Red . These pages contain all the information that has reached us at the date given above. If you have not submitted the missing information to the Society or to your stream organiser, please send that now preferably using the online forms.

The Organising Committee does not set the level of the fees or collect them. This is done by the Society alone. Information about conference fees, registering for the conference and booking accomodation will be found on the OR Society's WEB pages. Follow the link at the top of this page to jump to the Society's OR41 Conference pages. This year the Society has created a fund to support attendance at OR41. This was devised by the Society but will be operated by the Organising Committee. See Support for information on eligibility and how to apply. So far very few applications have been received, and more than half of the fund has not yet been allocated.
