Details Other Edinburgh mathematics graduates who are Fellows of the British Academy: Sir James Mirrlees (Nobel Prize in Economics), Professor William Miller (Professor Emeritus, University of Glasgow; was Edward Caird Professor of Politics there), Professor Donald MacKenzie (Sociology, University of Edinburgh). There is also an Edinburgh mathematics graduate who is a Fellow of the Royal Society and the US National Academy of Sciences: Dusa McDuff (Barnard College).
