The University recently played host to a regional final of the UK Mathematics
Trust Senior Team Challenge.
Teams of four S5 and S6 students worked together in the historic setting of
the Playfair Library in Old College. Their mathematical skills were put to the
test as they had to answer fiendishly difficult
questions over three rounds.
The clear winners were the team from Dollar Academy and they will go forward to
the national final in London in February.
