Lectureship in Applied and Computational Mathematics
The School of Mathematics seeks an outstanding candidate for a
lectureship in Applied and Computational Mathematics. We expect
candidates to have a record of first-class research. The School is
particularly keen to make an appointment addressing a research topic
related to either computational mathematics or mathematical biology (or
both), however applicants will be considered working in all areas of
Applied and Computational Mathematics whose research meshes well with
the interests of existing faculty. As women are currently
under-represented in the School, we particularly encourage female
applicants.
The closing date for applications is 25th March 2013 and interviews
will be held during the period 29th to 30th April 2013. The post is
available at a mutually agreed date from 1st August 2013.
Please ensure that you include a CV with your application, as well
as a brief research plan. Please also arrange for three referees to send
letters of recommendation directly to hr@maths.ed.ac.uk, fax +44(0)131
650 6553 by the closing date.
