The simplex update has been an active research topic since the introduction of the revised simplex method. Efficient simplex update implementation is crucial to any simplex code. Base on the experience of the design and implementation of a high performance simplex solver, this talk will briefly review existing simplex update approaches and then introduce some novel developments towards parallelisation. This talk will also compare and discuss various simplex update techniques in terms of efficiency and implementation efforts.
