Forecasting total cost of electricity generation
Wednesday 22 November 2006 at 15.30, JCMB 5327

Abstract

A problem of electricity generation with different energy sources is often complex: its size can be significant depending on a length of a considered time interval; scheduling of electricity generation is effected by the nature of energy sources. During this talk will be presented a problem of electricity generation with thermal and wind power and analyzed a method of forecasting its total cost. This method is based on the statistics of a wind energy curve and includes linear and non-linear parameters correlated with a value of total cost.
