Susan J. Sierra

I am a senior lecturer in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, where I am a member of the Hodge Institute and the algebra and number theory group.

My research is on noncommutative ring theory, algebraic geometry, and their interactions. For more information about me, see:

Slides for the October 2014 meeting for Edinburgh University students: "Women Maths Students: Is There a Ph.D. in Your Future?"

I was a postdoc at Princeton University and the University of Washington.

I received my Ph. D. from the University of Michigan in 2008. Toby Stafford was my thesis supervisor.
